Cabécou du Périgord

Cabécou du Périgord is a small goat cheese round with a pearly rind, carefully crafted in Périgord using whole goat’s milk from the region. When young, it offers delicate goaty notes, which evolve with ageing into more pronounced hazelnut flavours. Perfect on a cheeseboard, our cheesemakers also recommend it warm, thanks to its ultra melt-in-the-mouth texture. A must-have in a warm goat cheese salad, it is also delicious on toast or served as croquettes.

Le Picolin du Périgord

Picolin du Périgord is one of Fromagerie Picandine’s signature cheeses. Made from goat’s milk collected in the heart of Périgord, it is carefully aged to reveal subtle notes of hazelnut and woodland beneath its ivory rind. Mild when young, it develops more character over time. Perfect on a cheeseboard or to enhance traditional Périgord dishes, Picolin reflects the authenticity and richness of Périgord cheesemaking know-how.
